Amazon.co.uk Review
Everyone in the world blacks-out at precisely the same moment for the same amount of time then awakens to a state of chaos and confusion. But as the truth begins to unravel, people realise the black-outs were visions of their lives almost seven months into the future. Now begins a global race to uncover how lives and events are connected, if the moments people experienced will come true, and whether or not you can change fate. Most importantly, what or who could have caused all this to happen, and why?

- Great series
Great premise, well executed - gripping stuff, keeps the audience guessing. Love it!

- Buy it - Deserves a second season...
It's a great shame that ABC decided not to renew this show, concentrating instead on a remake like V, rather than giving a very good piece of original programming a chance. If you've read Sawyer's novel of the same name, you'll know the basic concept - the world black's out and sees the future, 6 months from the present day. Besides a couple of characters and themes this is very different from the book (which I'd also recommend). We see the effects on a wide variety of characters, and the ongoing battle of fake versus free will.
It's a fascinating concept. It's not a perfect series, it took some time to get going, but that wasn't helped by a long hiatus mid-season when aired on ABC. It was also competing with Season 6 of Lost and many fans of the genre simply didn't have the time for another show posing many questions and topics to debate. You get the impression it was written for the long-term, and there's no doubt this season leaves you wanting more. Some reviews criticised it for that, but given that it was written with the belief there'd be a second season, it has to be seen as a great success.
Give it a chance, hopefully if enough of you do, a network will see sense and give original programming a chance.
- thought provoking show
This is one of the best shows i have watched (yes i even prefered it to Lost) it really gets your brain working as well as being highly entertaining. Currently there is a world wide campaing on FB to help save the show and encourage one of the studios to pick it up for a second series. (Save Flashforward) please join in and help save one of the best shows on tv. It has been nominated for 3 Emmys so if that doesn't tell you its worth watching i don't know what will. Buy it, watch it, enjoy it. x Save Flashforward!!
- Another great show bites the dust!!!
I can't express how disappointed I was when I heard this show was cancelled. Having tried to watch Lost and finding it difficult to get into, I was apprehensive. I didn't watch the first 3 episodes when they were first aired, but having read reviews decided to give it a go. Wow what a show, I was hooked and couldn't wait for the next episode to air. Trust the US to cancel based only on American ratings, what about all those around the world who watched it. Don't we count, after all the network get paid for distribution. I hope that ABC reconsider, especially after all the publicity from around the world. I will definately be buying the DVD boxset, or requesting it as a present.
- theres just one problem!
its a fantastic season but its unfortunately gonna be just one season. this is because the american network behind the show has cancelled it. so when this season closes on a cliffhanger thats it.
