5 star(s) - External BD-Combo Blu-Ry drive

This was bought for my son. He is very happy with it and it is working well.

1 star(s) - There Has to better Products Than Freecom

Having decided to move towards Blu Ray entertainment media, I decided to buy from the higher price range at Amazon. As usual, Amazon worked wonders, getting this and other orders to my door very quickly. The quick start guide explains that Blu Ray movies can only be played if the Roxio cineplayer software is downloaded from the application and documentation disk to the user's pc. Well, I'd downloaded all the available applications and there is no movie player software in the application software. Roxio will sell a download at an extra £19. Perhaps there is good reason to avoid Freecom and Roxio products. Firms like Samsung do not conn their customers and deliver exactly what is specified in their promotional and user information. If you still feel inclined to Freecom, then look at the pencil in the promotional photo - the unit is enormous and has an external power supply not mentioned in the advertising

1 star(s) - impossible

i also have a panasonic blu-ray recorder connected to my tv which has simple instructions and is easy to use, with this recorder i can burn 10 full lenght movies on to one 25 gb blu-ray disc.but with this freecom recorder i have been unable to record even one movie with the soft ware it came with or with nero 10 .unless you have a phd in computer science i would give it a miss
