- Birthday Gift

I bought this for my Husband for his 30th Birhtday. To be honest I had no idea what to buy, this one won mainly by looks and the fact it matched the telly (what can I say !!) and was wall mountable, we have had to replace either a T.V. or D.V.D player with each of our 3 boys so the option to put the DVD player way out of arms reach with the TV was a huge advantage - this should ensure a longer life span of our equipment and our DVD's !!

I was nearly put off by a couple of negative reviews including one person having to send it back (we are in Ireland so that would have been a nightmare) and about the noise of it. But we have had no problem and have not noticed any noise at all from it.

It was really easy to mount to the wall with the included kit - it was all up and running within the hour.

The USB port is great as we can watch movies, home video and pics all straight from the laptop in an instant which the kids love.

We would highly recommend this DVD player and have yet to find any fault with it. It looks great, is small, compact and well out of the way, the picture is amazing (we did have to get a hdmi cable seperatly) and it is so easy to use even I can do it without having to call himself !!

item arrived when it was meant to, looks fantastic and the picture quality is fantastic the upscaling is brilliant makes and dvd look good. the only one problem i found was when you connect the stand it makes quite a bit of noise as soon as you take it off, not a bit of noise, i did notice that on other reviews that there is noise from the fan its not the fan but the drive taking the stand off fixes this problem. would like to mention doesnt come with an HDMI cable or the wireless connection.

would advise connecting to the net via wire and updating the firmware straight away.

overall excellent item, samsung do need to do something about the stand issue though.

would advise buying this item.

Fantastic product, my LCD and HD are Samsung as well so instant recognition straight to HDMI2 one remote for all, 1080p all I thought it would be. Unit very light and as good as it looks on site, wall mount easy. Buy a cheap one and you will regret it!

- Sleek, Sexy, Superb, Samsung!

I swore that after some bad experiences with Samsung DVD/BD players I would never buy another one, however, whilst perusing the net for one my eyes were hooked by this sweet looking product. When I saw that it was Samsung I hesitated only slightly before my penchant for the aesthetic won the day!

If you have a Samsung LCD or LED then this is a must buy for you - instant recognition when you turn the player on - can use either remote for TV/DVD - and it completes the look and makes an unbeatable eye-catching focus for any lounge.

Vast improvement here on loading times (I used to have to wait in excess of 3 minutes just for the menu to load!) and depending on the disc will support resume play. Picture is - well it's perfect - amazing - unbeatable! If you have a Samsung TV whack the Pic Mode to dynamic and just watch those colours "leap" out of the screen (especially the green - it's almost breathtaking!). I watch utter rubbish just because it looks soooo good!

The innovative design is truly second to none with a few caveats: it's longer than its more conventional counterparts so if you are not putting on the wall be sure you have a wide enough space for it to fit. Further to that the disc is side-loading so you need to allow more space to get the disc in and out.

Overall a great product from Samsung - looks sleek and sexy - picture is as good as I think we'll ever get at the minute - it's easy to mount on the wall although if you do not want to do this it comes with a neat little stand (puts it at about a 25degree angle) which just looks great in your cabinet or stand. Light display looks great - cool blue colour which you can dim as per preference, even the controller looks sexy!

went for this player as its the only one i could find that you can wall mount.read loads of reviews on this blue-ray player loads good few bad.excellent fast delivery from amazon [as allways].i fitted the attachment to the back of the player,the bracket that goes on the wall does,nt come with rawl plugs or screws. so you will need 4 each of your own. it was easy to fit to the wall.connected the player to my wall mounted 37 inch toshiba 1080p lcd tv. with a fisuall install 1.5 metre hdmi cable from amazon.played the dark knight then knowing blue-ray discs. the picture quality was outstanding.so clear,sharpe so much detail.even my other half was really impressed so it must be good.there was a slight fan noise but once the disc starts you dont hear anything.i had no lip sync issues.the player looks well smart with its glossy black piano finish.glad i got this player'all i can say is stunning picture quality.
